Job summary

Veolia seeks an Asset Care Service Technician to install and service water purification systems at customer sites. You will deliver, set up and exchange ion exchange tanks for commercial and industrial applications.

Responsibilities include driving to sites, loading equipment, performing pre-trip inspections, taking water samples, and maintaining equipment and inventory with strong adherence to safety and EHS policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commercial & industrial membrane systems & UV systems.
• Knowledge of PLC logic/programming.
• Knowledge of ion exchange & membrane theory & pretreatment applications.
• Vocational training in electrical/industrial/mechanical fields.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to deliver ion exchange tanks and water treatment equipment to customer sites.
• Load and unload tanks on trucks and maintain inventory on board.
• Completes Vehicle Inspection Reports for pre-trip inspection.
• Take water samples and perform tests (TDS, resistivity, pH, CO2, Cl2, hardness) and record results.
• Perform ion exchange tank exchanges and related maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain good housekeeping of vehicles and sites.
