Job summary

HKA Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Water Operator in Santa Fe, NM to perform operations and maintenance for the water production, treatment, and distribution system.

The role includes monitoring gauges, controlling valves, collecting samples, and conducting routine lab tests. A New Mexico Level 1 Water Certification and a valid driver's license are required. Onsite schedule is Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with a $25.00/hr pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• New Mexico Level 1 Water Certification.
• At least one year of experience in water operations.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and repairs water production, treatment, and distribution systems.
• Reads gauges, meters, and control panels; monitors flow.
• Collects samples and performs routine laboratory tests.
• Works on-call shifts and responds to call-ins as needed.
• Maintains shift logs and reports abnormalities.
