HKA Enterprises, Inc. in Santa Fe, NM is seeking an on-site Wastewater Treatment Operator to manage flow, operate pumps and generators, monitor panels, collect samples, and conduct routine lab tests.

This full-time role is based onsite with a 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM schedule (Monday–Friday), with on-call shifts and weekend/holiday work required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic computer operations knowledge required.
• NM Level 1 Water/Wastewater certification preferred or obtainable within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Learn equipment maintenance and plant servicing tasks.
• Operate treatment facilities to control flow and processing of wastewater, sludge, and effluent.
• Start/stop pumps, engines and generators; adjust flow and treatment.
• Monitor gauges, meters and control panels.
• Observe and report abnormalities to supervisor.
• Maintain shift logs and record readings.
• Collect samples and perform basic lab tests.
• Perform routine maintenance and custodial duties.
• Follow oral and written instructions and work well with others.
