Carollo Engineers is a leading water-focused engineering firm with 90+ years of experience in planning, design, and construction of water, wastewater, and reuse facilities. This internship offers exposure to municipal projects and critical treatment plant expansions.

You will perform engineering work on water/wastewater treatment and conveyance, assist with planning, reports, cost estimates, and hydraulic modeling, and develop design options under supervision.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or completed sophomore year of civil or environmental engineering degree program.
• Coursework in environmental engineering with emphasis in hydraulics, physical, chemical, and biological treatment processes and treatment plant design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performing engineering work in water / wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
• Work on engineering planning and design projects.
• Prepare reports.
• Develop plans and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates for various projects.
• Hydraulic system modeling.
• Development of alternative analysis of design options.
• Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables.
