Job summary

Carollo Engineers in Colorado is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design electrical power systems for water and wastewater facilities with limited supervision by a Senior Electrical Engineer. You will perform load calculations, conduit routing, MCC and switchgear design, and prepare specifications.

A BS in Electrical Engineering with 4–6 years of experience, NEC/NFPA 820/NESC familiarity, and strong communication skills are required. Master’s degree and PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA 820 and NESC.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong client interaction abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed electrical power systems design for water and wastewater facilities with minimum supervision by a Senior Level Electrical Engineer.
• Perform load calculations, detailed conduit routing, motor control center and switchgear design, and specification generation.
