Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Texas Commercial Driver’s License, Class A, is required or must be obtained within 6 months.
• Must have and maintain a Class II Wastewater and Class C Water Distribution License or must be obtained within one year of hire.
• One year of experience is required in the maintenance and/or construction of water distribution and wastewater collection system.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a small crew in construction and maintenance of water/sewer systems.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair failures in water/sewer mains.
• Maintain accurate daily records of time, material, and equipment.
• Implement and enforce rules for employee and public safety.
• Work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions including extreme temperatures.
