Job summary

Nexus Water Group seeks a Construction Manager to oversee capital and developer projects, ensuring work aligns with plans and specifications, and is completed on budget and on schedule.

You will coordinate internal and external teams including engineering, regulators, and operations to deliver safe, reliable water infrastructure. Based in Jacksonville, FL with travel between service areas.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ten years of progressive construction experience in the water industry.
• Two years' experience leading teams.

Responsibilities

• Understand Local, OSHA and Nexus safety requirements and enforce a safe work environment.
• Read structural, mechanical, electrical, civil, process engineering plans and specs.
• Provide constructability input during design.
• Review and manage complex construction contracts.
• Assist with project estimating and budget development.
• Coordinate with project team to prepare reports for management and agencies.
