Job summary

The Doe Run Company is hiring a Water & Sweeper Truck Operator at the Buick Resource Recycling Facility in Boss, MO. The role requires operating water and sweeper trucks to maintain clean grounds and adherence to environmental standards.

Salary is $23.70 per hour with a 5% targeted monthly bonus and benefits beginning on day one. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred), a valid driver’s license, and at least one year of related truck operation experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• One year of experience operating a water truck, sweeper truck or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate a truck wash, water truck, and sweeper truck to spread water and sweep grounds.
• Perform pre-shift inspection of truck.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment, including tightening, lubricating, and cleaning equipment.
• Ensure tire wash is operating properly.
• Fill in as necessary for Yard Equipment Operator; safely operate yard equipment and assist with cleanup.
• Assist in other facility operations when air temperature is below freezing or raining.
• Complete tasks in a safe and environmentally compliant manner by following EHS policies, procedures, and best practices; support and assist peers in working in a safe, compliant manner; report unsafe acts or conditions, incidents, and deviations; and provide feedback to support continuous improvement in EHS performance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
