Responsibilities

Experience CDL - Water Truck Driver

This position involves driving trucks equipped with water and maintaining proper levels on all assigned equipment. It requires adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety programs.

Makes daily pre/post trip inspections on the assigned vehicle to ensure safety and identify any damages or tampering. Reports issues immediately to the shop.

• Drives tanker truck to designated destinations, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and local roads.
• Works with paving crews, spray bituminous tack-coat.
• Maintains a truck log according to state, federal, and company regulations.
• Reports traffic or site condition problems promptly and gathers information about the job site and route conditions.
• Performs maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs as per the Truck Driver's Handbook guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; relevant work experience is acceptable
• 1-2 years CDL driving experience with a GVW of 33,000 lbs or more
• Tankerman endorsement required
• In compliance with DOT physical requirements
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License required
• Hazmat experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Skilled in loading and unloading fuel and oil from trucks at terminals
• Valid driver's license required
