Job summary

V3 is seeking a Water Supply & Wastewater Group Leader in Denver, CO to spearhead planning, design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects. The role combines project leadership with client engagement and team development in a growing local office.

You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, advance proposals, and strengthen relationships with municipalities and utilities along the Colorado Front Range, contributing to high-quality, deliverable results.

Qualifications

• Registered professional engineer with at least 10 years of industry experience.
• Leadership experience in municipal water supply and/or wastewater consulting.
• Strong background in pump stations, treatment facilities and/or linear infrastructure.
• Collaborative leadership style with multidisciplinary delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of water supply and/or wastewater projects.
• Lead business development; client and industry engagement, local strategy, project development, proposals, and interviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, utilities, and regional agencies in Colorado; bring awareness of market needs, funding drivers, and delivery expectations.
• Mentor and support team growth; contribute to consistent, high-quality delivery through repeatable workflows and collaboration.
• Manage multi‑disciplinary teams and coordinate technical integration across civil, process, mechanical, electrical, controls, and structural engineers.
• Engage and enrich the local professional community.

Water Supply & Wastewater Group Leader

Lead our growing, dynamic, innovative water team in Denver! V3 is growing rapidly in the water sector and is looking for a senior Water Supply & Wastewater (WS/WW) leader to help expand our work in Denver and the Colorado Front Range. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who enjoys combining project leadership with client engagement and team development. You’ll lead and deliver complex WS/WW work from our dynamic growing local office while collaborating with a strong and expanding national water team.

What You’ll Do

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of water supply and/or wastewater projects, such as pump stations, treatment facilities and linear conveyance/collection.
• Lead business development; client and industry engagement, local strategy, project development, proposals, and interviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with municipalities, utilities, and regional agencies in Colorado; bring awareness of market needs, funding drivers, and delivery expectations.
• Mentor and support team growth; contribute to consistent, high-quality delivery through repeatable workflows and collaboration.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong local network and credibility in the Denver/Front Range water community; active involvement with industry organizations.
• Collaborative leadership style, strong communication, and comfort guiding multidisciplinary delivery teams.
