Dover Food Retail in Centerville, IA, is seeking a Material Handler II – Water Spider for 1st shift to support final assembly, refrigeration, framing, sub-assembly and related processes. You will read blueprints, track materials, and assist multiple departments to keep production moving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum three years in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics is needed.

Responsibilities

• Support assigned department with tracking parts and resolving issues.
• Communicate with team members and across departments.
• Lead when needed and perform assembly-type tasks with hand/power tools.
• Read job orders, BOMs, blueprints, and schematics to identify parts and tools.
• Participate in lean initiatives and continuous improvement events.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area and follow safety protocols.
