Qualifications

• High school graduate with related construction or utility maintenance experience.
• Requires at least one year in Public Works maintenance or equivalent field.
• Special NC CDL and water/wastewater certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water and sewer lines and pump stations.
• Read meters, install hydrants, meters, and valves, perform repairs.
• Work inside and outside under varied conditions; be on-call and call-back as needed.
