Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.96 (Depending on experience and qualifications)

General Purpose:
Under supervision, performs unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance work and operates equipment related to city water/sewer systems, facilities, streets, driveways, and walkways. This is a safety-sensitive position and is subject to random drug testing, including federal regulations regarding marijuana.

Tools and Equipment:
Includes trucks, backhoe, saws, pumps, compressors, generators, hand tools, detection devices, radios, and other construction tools.
Physical Demands:
Regularly requires handling objects, standing, talking, hearing, walking, sitting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and smelling. Must lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral, depth, and focus adjustment.
Work Environment:
Primarily outdoors, exposed to weather, moving mechanical parts, humidity, vibration, heights, chemicals, and electrical hazards. Noise levels are usually loud.
