The role requires a high school diploma, US work authorization, and familiarity with LIMS and MS Office. The position is full-time, Tue-Fri, 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, with possible overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling samples.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to coordinate with laboratory personnel and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log incoming water samples following SOPs.
• Verify proper labeling, identification, and integrity of each sample.
• Record all relevant sample details in LIMS.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and transportation documentation.
• Store water samples with temperature control and integrity preservation.
• Sort and prioritize samples based on testing requirements and timelines.
• Track inventory for testing supplies and alert supervisors of shortages.
• Ensure samples are properly sealed to prevent contamination.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.
• Coordinate with laboratory managers for timely sample delivery.
• Respond to inquiries regarding sample status and provide updates.
