Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification as a swim instructor from a nationally recognized agency.
• Darkness to Light training certification within 3 months.
• Experience in swimming/aquatics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advises the public on aquatics activities and pool rules.
• Provides effective swimming instruction across all levels.
• Follows approved lesson plans and maintains records.
• Oversees pool area to prevent accidents and ensure safety.
• Completes required reports to the Aquatics Coordinator.
• Advises supervisor on problems and concerns.
• Administers First Aid/CPR as required.
