The Water Safety Instructor provides swim instruction to youth and adults in both group and individual settings at a municipal aquatic facility. They teach swimming techniques and water safety skills based on established curriculum standards, such as those from the American Red Cross. Responsibilities include assessing participant skill levels, creating lesson plans, and maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment.
