Unknown Company in California is seeking a Water Resources Project Manager to lead groundwater and water resources projects from planning through implementation, reporting to a team leader, and guiding both project management and technical direction.

The role involves SGMA compliance, groundwater basin characterization, water budgets and accounting, litigation support, and water supply planning, with travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hydrology, Geology, Earth Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's or PhD preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience; 8+ years preferred for SGMA and related water resources projects.
• At least 2 years of proven project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Coordinate SGMA implementation across multiple Groundwater Sustainability Agencies.
• Project and Client Management: Act as the primary client contact and lead meetings with clients and external parties.
• Business Development: Support client development, proposal writing, and conference presentations.
