Job summary

Daniel B. Stephens & Associates (DBS&A), a Geo-Logic Associates company, seeks engineers to support municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects across multiple states. You will join a firm with hydrology, geology, GIS, and CAD expertise and work with diverse professionals.

The role emphasizes design, field work, regulatory coordination, travel to sites, and a path toward project management; PE licensure or progress toward licensure within two years is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in water and wastewater engineering or municipal public works.
• Knowledge of engineering design including plans, specifications, hydraulic calculations, reports, and cost estimating.
• Willingness to travel to project sites; field investigations and client meetings.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and independent decision-making.
• Familiarity with OSHA HAZWOPER is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
• Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams across multiple states; project management interest.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and construction of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, scientists, GIS specialists, and CAD designers.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, municipalities, and clients.
• Travel to project sites for investigations and collaboration.
• Prepare technical reports and cost estimates.
