Job summary

RS&H is seeking a Water Resources Leader to join the Infrastructure team in San Antonio. You will lead a team of Water Resources engineers delivering high-profile transportation projects across Central Texas, while building client relationships and expanding the practice.

The role requires strong leadership, business development experience, and expertise in stormwater design for large-scale infrastructure. You’ll guide staffing, budgets, and performance to ensure quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Active PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain).
• Minimum seven years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience leading stormwater/design for transportation infrastructure.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources, and delivery timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Water Resources professionals.
• Support growth: staffing, recruiting, and expanding capabilities.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance management.
• Oversee delivery of high-profile projects with technical guidance.
• Drive project profitability and resource planning.
• Build client relationships and pursue opportunities with BD teams.
• Lead pursuit strategies for key projects and proposals.
