Jacobs is seeking a Water Resources Group Leader to lead and expand our planning and modeling services across Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. This role blends people leadership with technical excellence to deliver complex water resources projects.

You will oversee project delivery, develop staff, and grow client relationships while promoting innovation and digital solutions in a collaborative, safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Water Resources Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Experience in water resources, utility planning, and hydraulic/hydrologic modeling.
• Expertise with EPA SWMM, PCSWMM, InfoWorks ICM, MIKE+, SewerGEMS, AquaTwin Sewer, and/or WaterGEMS/InfoWater Pro/InfoWorks WS Pro/AquaTwin Water.
• Knowledge of Python scripting, ML, optimization, smart sewer tech, digital twins, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Proven success leading multidisciplinary teams and client management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow water resources, planning, and modeling services across Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana.
• Provide project delivery oversight including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and contractual compliance.
• Advance the group's technical reputation with data-driven solutions.
• Develop staff, mentor teams, and drive succession planning.
• Build and maintain client relationships and support business development.
• Promote innovation and adoption of digital solutions.
