Job summary

EOG Resources is seeking a Water Resources Coordinator to support drilling and completion operations by forecasting water needs and coordinating supply with geology, land, and geophysics teams.

You will develop and maintain tracking software for project, capital, LOE, and manpower, and train peers in data reporting. Travel to field sites is required. The role emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, prioritization, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Ability to work in a highly innovative, fast-paced environment with frequently changing priorities.
  • The ability to set priorities and meet deadlines is critical to the success of this position.
  • Bachelor’s in Water Management or similar preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate EOG’s water requirements for ongoing and expanding completion and drilling operations.
  • Forecast areas of future water needs, quantifying them, and determining how those needs will be met.
  • Work with field staff to accomplish construction of water facilities (pits, pipeline, water wells, etc.).
  • Develop and maintain proprietary software for project, engineering, capital, LOE, and manpower tracking.
  • Integrate and train peers for data tracking and reporting.
  • Travel will be required.
