Job summary

Hanson Professional Services, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Water Resources Intern to support hydrologic and hydraulic studies for dams, reservoirs, and flood-control projects.

You will collect data, perform analyses using ArcMAP, HEC-RAS, and other tools, prepare plans and reports, and assist with permitting and QA documentation. The position offers mentoring, flexible learning, and opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant field of study (Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Water Resources, or Coastal Engineering).
• Minimum sophomore or junior year, active enrollment in an accredited 4-year college/university.

Responsibilities

• Data development using surveys, LiDAR, GIS, and CAD.
• Research of local regulatory requirements for projects.
• Definition of hydrologic parameters and discharge rate calculations.

Valid driver's license

Education
