Job summary

Stantec in Texas seeks a Water Resources/H&H Team Lead to grow the Texas water resources group and lead complex water resources projects, including H&H modeling, flood risk, and river restoration. The role emphasizes mentoring a diverse team and delivering technically rigorous work.

You will contribute to business development, travel as needed, and uphold a strong health and safety culture while advancing strategic water resources initiatives in the region.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in water resources projects with focus on flood risk management, drainage, and nature-based solutions.
• Strong leadership, team building, and communication on complex projects.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and develop high-performing project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage water resources, H&H, and stormwater projects within multidisciplinary teams.
• Provide supervision, technical direction, and mentoring to staff.
• Lead project delivery and quality oversight for complex water projects.
• Support marketing and business development, client interviews, and proposals.
