This Opportunity:

Join our Water Resources team to support a variety of civil and environmental engineering projects. In this role, you will:

  • Support the Water Resources team across various aspects of project execution
  • Assist in the analysis and design of storm sewer collection systems.
  • Perform hydraulic modeling and stormwater BMP modeling.
  • Contribute to stormwater compliance initiatives, including the development of Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs).
  • Develop technical documentation such as design reports, engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications.
  • This opportunity is open to candidates residing in the following areas: St Paul, MN
Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, with a focus on hydrology and water resources
  • Ability to traverse uneven terrain and lift up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous coursework or experience in fluid mechanics, open channel hydraulics, and/or stormwater management.
  • Previous internship experience
  • Familiarity with GIS, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or OpenRoads software.
  • Understanding of NPDES regulations related to municipal, industrial, and construction stormwater.
  • Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
  • Prior involvement in construction observation or fieldwork.
  • Comfortable presenting technical information in public or team settings.
