Job summary

WSP USA is offering a Water Resources Engineering Intern position in the San Antonio area, with flexible start dates and opportunities to work in Houston or Dallas as well. This temporary internship targets students enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, participating in our 12-week Summer Internship Program beginning May 17, 2027.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in an accredited engineering or related undergraduate program.
• Must be 18 or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States at internship start.
• Interest in water or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support a variety of engineering tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
• Learn basic principles of Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
• Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Support preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
• Assist in collecting and maintaining project documentation.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
