The candidate should have 4–10 years of relevant experience, a PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months, and a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred). Salary ranges from $85,000 to $135,000+ depending on experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Master’s degree with emphasis in Hydrology and/or Hydraulics preferred.
• 4–10 years of professional experience in water resources study, design, and construction administration.
• Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Aufgaben

• Provide project engineering and task management on water resources design projects.
• Supervise and delegate work to junior engineers and support staff.
• Conduct stormwater collection systems modeling and design.
• Perform floodplain, inundation, and hydrologic studies.
• Perform sediment transport and scour analyses for water resources projects.
• Assist in water resources permitting efforts.
• Collect, evaluate, and present data in reports and oral presentations.
• Prepare engineering plans and specifications for detention facilities, storm drains, flood control facilities, and other hydraulic structures.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams of geomorphologists, biologists, planners, emergency managers, and other hydraulic/water resources engineers.
• Contribute to business development, marketing, and proposal preparation.
