Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers has an immediate opening for a Water Resources Engineer based in Lone Tree, CO or Bellevue, WA. You will support development of water resources and drainage designs for North American infrastructure projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering required.
• EIT or FE required.
• 2+ years drainage/hydrology/water resources design experience.
• Design-Build project experience preferred.
• Software modelling in MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArcGIS, GEOPAK, InRoads, Civil3D, OpenRoads, HydroCAD.
• Drainage/Hydrology software experience: HEC-RAS, HEC-GEORAS, HY-8, CulvertMaster, StormCAD, CivilStorm, PondPack, FlowMaster, 2D tools like SRH-2D, FLO-2D.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work with teams.
• Occasional travel to project offices and sites.

Responsibilities

• Support hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for transportation and water resources projects.
• Contribute to drainage design and cost estimates for infrastructure programs.
• Prepare engineering reports and technical memoranda.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams across locations.
• Assist with CLOMR/LOMR processes and FEMA/NFIP duties.
