Job summary

Haley Ward is seeking a Water Resources Project Engineer to lead municipal water, sewer, and stormwater projects in a team setting. You will manage design through construction, including pump stations and SCADA integration, with an emphasis on sustainable solutions.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in Civil Engineering, PE or EIT progress, and at least 3 years of water/wastewater design experience. Location: Saco, ME; competitive salary and ESOP benefits.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license with 4+ years of related experience or EIT on track with 5+ years of related experience.
• Minimum of 3 years design experience with water/wastewater systems.
• SCADA systems interest—design, programming, or integration.
• Pump station design expertise from wet wells to electrical/control systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and hydraulic modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and control project activities within budgets and schedules.
• Lead complex hydraulic design projects for municipal water distribution, collection, and treatment facilities.
• Engineer pump stations from concept to commissioning, including electrical controls and automation.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive innovative sustainable design approaches.
• Promote new business for the company and their own area of expertise.
• Coordinate with regulatory staff and represent clients at hearings or meetings.
