Job summary

B.E. REED, LLC is seeking a dynamic Water Resources Engineer to support the planning and design of water infrastructure projects in Indiana. The ideal candidate will perform hands-on technical work, contribute to impactful environmental stewardship, and engage in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include leading design services for water systems, preparing engineering studies, and mentoring junior staff. The position requires a B.S. in a relevant engineering discipline and 5-10 years of related experience.

Competitive salary from $95,000 to $115,000, along with benefits including health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of progressive water resources design experience.
• Indiana PE or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with Indiana municipalities and utility districts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support planning and design for water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.
• Prepare engineering studies, including preliminary engineering reports.
• Design sanitary sewer and water distribution systems.

Skills

Proficiency with AutoCAD

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Analytical skills

Education

B.S. in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline
