IID in Imperial, CA, seeks a professional water resources engineer to perform planning and engineering for the district's water conservation programs. Under general direction, you will analyze hydrology, design water-saving projects, and prepare reports for regulators and stakeholders.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in civil/agriculture/irrigation engineering or a related field, or an Associate's with four years of water resources experience and an Engineering-In-Training certificate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, agriculture, irrigation engineering or related field is required.
• Alternatively, an Associate’s degree in engineering with four years of water resources engineering and planning experience plus an Engineering-In-Training certificate is required.
• A negative drug test is required for employment.
