Job Title: Water Resources Project Engineer

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Chicago, IL; Peoria, IL; Crown Point, IN; Indianapolis, IN

Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 (Exempt, Full-Time Employment position. Compensation commensurate with education, certifications, and years of relevant industry experience.)

Base Pay Range

$80,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities:
  • Potable water supply and distribution (water main) analysis and design;
  • Wastewater collection and conveyance (sanitary sewer) analysis and design;
  • Pump and lift station analysis and design;
  • Potable water and sanitary system studies;
  • Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
Position Qualifications:
  • 3-5+ years of engineering experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited school required, Masters Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • Illinois and/or Indiana Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Fundamental understanding of water resources concepts, including water supply and distribution and sanitary collection and conveyance.
  • Experience in local water agency main and sanitary sewer design projects.
  • Strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment on multidisciplinary projects.
  • Experience and ability with Microstation or AutoCad.
