Dewberry is seeking a Water Resources Engineer for our Dallas, TX office. You will work on hydrology and hydraulic modeling, floodplain delineations, and GIS-based analyses to support water resources projects for federal, state, and local clients.

Qualifications

• B.S. or MS Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or related engineering field), with emphasis in water resources.
• 3-5 years’ water resources-related experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics.
• Knowledge/experience with relevant software such as ArcGIS, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, AutoCAD, InfoWorks.
• Progressive experience in project delivery for stormwater and resilience projects such as storm drain systems, dam breach analysis, flood mitigation alternative analysis and design is a plus.
• Interest and participation in publications, conference presentations, and professional organizations is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic MS Office software.
• P.E. certification a plus.
• Team player.
