Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for Summer 2027 in our Denver, CO office. You will assist project engineers with hydraulic and hydrologic analyses, design development, and technical tasks while gaining hands-on experience in water resources engineering.

This internship emphasizes data collection, modeling, and engineering evaluations, along with communicating design concepts through drawings and reports.

Qualifications

• No experience required for students in an ABET accredited program
• Must have completed 60 hours toward a civil or environmental engineering degree by Summer 2027
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist project engineers with water resources analyses, design development, and technical tasks
• Contribute to data collection, modeling, calculations, and engineering evaluations
• Prepare and communicate design concepts through drawings, exhibits, reports and construction documents
• Support preparation of project deliverables and coordination with multidisciplinary teams
