We are seeking a civil engineer to support design tasks, analyze data, assist with watershed delineation and drainage design, and help prepare engineering documents for bid and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• 0–5 years of civil engineering experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to support engineering tasks
• Support watershed delineation, drainage area mapping, and hydrologic computations for stormwater management and drainage design
• Assist in designing projects in accordance with client specifications and guidelines using design software and drawing tools
• Assist with developing the project quantities and construction cost estimate
• Assist in the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction
• Support preparation of stormwater reports, permit exhibits, design calculations, and design narratives
