Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water Resources Coordinator/EIT in Irvine, CA to support flood risk reduction and hydraulic modeling initiatives within our Water Business Group.

You will work with engineers on design, modeling, and data presentation, producing reports and calculations to advance projects. A Bachelor's in Civil Engineering and CAD/hydraulic software experience are required; EIT is preferred for career progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field.
• Experience with MS Office, CAD (AutoCAD) and hydraulic modeling software.
• Self-motivated; able to work independently and with a project team.

Responsibilities

• Focus on water resources projects such as flood risk reduction, levee rehab, flood control, and riverine structures.
• Work with project engineers on design engineering and modeling techniques.
• Focus on hydraulics and hydrologic modeling, data collection and presentation.
• Produce design calculations, technical reports and water resources studies.
• Perform other duties as needed.
