#twiceasnice Recruiting is seeking an Environmental CAD Designer near Bel Air, MD. The role uses AutoCAD to create and revise plans for stormwater, erosion control, grading, stream work, and public infrastructure projects.

No engineering degree is required, but AutoCAD experience in environmental consulting is mandatory, with field work as needed. The position is full-time, on-site with field/site work, offering a salary of $65,000–$85,000 plus benefits and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD experience in environmental or water resources consulting is required.
• Experience with grading, erosion control, cut/fill, profiles, or cross-sections in AutoCAD is required.
• Willingness and ability to perform field work based on active contract needs required.
• Valid driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise AutoCAD plan sets for environmental, water resources, and site/civil projects.
• Draft grading, erosion control, cut/fill, profile, and cross-section details based on project needs.
• Support stormwater, stream, landfill, and public infrastructure plans and documentation.
• Support hydrologic, hydraulic, and open channel flow analyses.
• Prepare and update drawings, details, sequencing plans, and permit packages.
• Visit project sites to document conditions and collect field data.
• Walk uneven terrain, streams, and wooded areas during site visits.
• Review your own work for accuracy and ask questions when guidance is needed.
