Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Water Resources engineering is required.
  • Experience with hydrologic, hydraulic, and water quality simulation and analysis (ICPR, HEC-RAS, HEC-SSP, HEC-HMS, HydroCad, SWMM) is required.
  • Experience with surface water hydrology and GIS is required.
  • Experience with open-channel hydraulics, gravity pipes, and bridge hydraulics is required.
  • Environmental resource permitting experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform engineering calculations and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Direct junior engineers in performing technical tasks.
  • Review water resources analyses and design documents for accuracy.
  • Plan, analyze, and design water resources systems and infrastructure (stormwater, floodplain, riverine, coastal, roadways, sites, dams, bridges).
  • Develop engineering proposals and presentations.
  • Manage projects from inception to completion.

Job description

Wright-Pierce, an award-winning, multi-discipline environmental engineering firm specializing in water, wastewater and civil infrastructure, is seeking a licensed Water Resources Project Manager to join our company.

Salary range is $95,000 - $160,000/yr. NOTE: Final salary is based on education, experience, certifications, and location.

Responsibilities
  • Perform engineering calculations and complete tasks with minimal supervision
  • Direct junior engineers in performance of technical tasks
  • Perform technical reviews of water resources technical analysis and design documents
  • Engineering planning, analysis, and design of water resources related systems and infrastructure including stormwater, floodplain, riverine, coastal, roadways, sites, dams, and bridges
  • Develop engineering proposals and presentations
  • Project management

Experience
