In this role, you will participate in a comprehensive 12-month training program designed to equip them with the skills necessary for the role of an environmental inspector within a specific field. Throughout this program, you will receive hands-on experience while learning relevant regulations and policies, and support seasoned inspectors in conducting evaluations of designated facilities.
The inspections will cover various aspects of oil and gas operations, such as production, site preparation, construction, restoration, spill response, and pollution prevention measures. The primary objective is to assess compliance with several regulations, including the Federal Clean Water Act, the Pennsylvania Clean Streams Law, and the Oil and Gas Act, among others. A significant focus will be placed on evaluating onsite conditions against the relevant permits, particularly concerning Erosion and Sediment Control and Post Construction Stormwater Management.
