Job summary

I-2-I Solutions is seeking an experienced Water Sampling Technician to support a water-quality contract at Fleet Readiness Center East in Cherry Point, NC. The technician will collect water samples, perform field measurements, and maintain field documentation.

Laboratory analyses will be performed separately, and the role focuses on sampling, monitoring, and field testing across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting environmental or industrial water samples.
• Ability to maintain accurate sampling records and chain-of-custody.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Cherry Point, NC.
• Experience with field water-quality measurements.
• Must be able to travel between sites on a DoD installation.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated systems and collect representative water samples per procedures.
• Perform monthly sampling of cooling towers, loops, glycol systems, and rainwater systems.
• Conduct field measurements using calibrated instruments and test kits.
• Record observations and ensure proper labeling, preservation, and shipment of samples.
• Maintain chain-of-custody and lab documentation; report anomalies promptly.
• Coordinate access with Government personnel and ensure safety procedures.
