Job summary

I-2-I Solutions is seeking an experienced Water Sampling Technician to support a water-quality contract at Fleet Readiness Center East in Cherry Point, NC. The technician will collect water samples, perform field tests, and maintain field documentation as described.

Laboratory analyses are conducted separately by I-2-I Solutions or an approved lab. Training and safety requirements apply, with a focus on sampling, monitoring, and field testing across multiple hydronic systems.

Qualifications

• Experience collecting environmental, industrial, cooling-water samples.
• Experience using portable water-quality instruments and field test kits.
• Maintain accurate sampling records and chain-of-custody documentation.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Cherry Point, NC.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated systems to collect representative water samples per procedures.
• Perform monthly sampling of cooling towers, loops, glycol systems, and rainwater collection.
• Conduct field water-quality measurements using portable instruments and test kits.
• Record observations and report unusually high readings via project procedure.
• Prepare samples for laboratory analysis and maintain chain-of-custody.
