Job summary

Gfoat in Georgetown, Texas is seeking a Regulatory Technician to support regulatory reporting, laboratory coordination, and water and wastewater quality monitoring to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

Under supervision, you will collect potable water and wastewater samples, perform field analyses, calibrate instruments, and coordinate with laboratories for sample scheduling and transport.

Qualifications

• Six months of related water, wastewater, or environmental field experience preferred.
• Valid Texas Class C driver’s license required; out-of-state licenses accepted with driving history.
• Within six months of hire: Class D Water Operator License (TCEQ).
• Basic knowledge of water and wastewater sampling techniques.
• Proficiency with data entry and reporting in MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collect potable water and wastewater samples per SOPs.
• Perform field analyses (temperature, pH, chlorine residuals, DO).
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain field testing instruments.
• Document sampling activities and support regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with laboratories for sample scheduling and transport.
• Maintain records for TCEQ, EPA, and other agencies.
• Assist with investigations and responses to water quality issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
