Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in Marion, Ohio, is seeking a Laboratory Analyst to perform EPA 525.2 analyses on water samples in accordance with SOPs and QA/QC. The role includes preparing reagents, calibrations, and QC samples, operating instrumentation, and reporting results with proper documentation.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field, and eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field or equivalent laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write, speak).

Responsibilities

• Perform EPA 525.2 analyses for water samples following all SOPs, QA/QC, and laboratory safety standards.
• Prepare and document reagents, calibration standards, and quality control samples.
• Operate and maintain analytical instrumentation related to primary methods.
• Review and validate analytical results; report deviations or issues as needed.
• Maintain method documentation, including IDOC/ODOC for assigned methods.
• Participate in proficiency testing (PT), audits, and corrective actions as assigned.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all laboratory safety protocols.
