Job summary

AmeriWater is seeking a Production Technician in Dayton, Ohio to assemble water purification systems. You will perform mechanical assembly, light fabrication, and electrical wiring to build components and complete systems, while following engineering drawings and work instructions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and proven experience in mechanical/electronic assembly, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Demonstrated experience in mechanical and electronic assembly.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow work instructions and engineering drawings.
• Perform mechanical assembly, light fabrication, and electrical wiring to assemble water purification components and systems.
• Perform quality checks as required.
• Partner with engineering on troubleshooting and revisions to blueprints.
• Follow all safety and ergonomic programs and guidelines.
• Maintain clean work area and participate in 5S activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Other duties as assigned
