Job summary

Sweetwater Authority seeks an experienced Project Manager for Engineering & Operations to lead planning, design and construction of water and recycled water projects. You will supervise staff and consultants, manage budgets, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, 3 years’ experience in water projects, and EIT certification with path to P.E. in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Three (3) years’ experience in engineering preferably planning, design and project management for water facilities.
• EIT certification with goal to obtain P.E. within two years from start date.

Responsibilities

• Serve as project manager on Authority projects, directing staff and consultants in planning, design, and construction.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor progress to ensure on-time completion within budget.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, and specifications for water facilities.
