Qualifications

• A minimum of five (4) years of verifiable experience in field construction management/inspection.
• OSHA 30-HR Construction Certification, or must be obtained prior to start of work.
• Ability to work minimum 8-hour shifts, with mornings, late nights, weekends; overtime as needed.
• Possession of a valid driver's license in California and travel to job sites as needed.
• Ability to work in disagreeable environments, include inclement weather, uneven surfaces, long standing periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and inspects the work of contractors for compliance with plans, specifications and schedules.
• Prepares project documentation including daily reports, force accounts, materials testing, and other construction records.
• Participates in and/or conducts planning, preconstruction, coordination, progress, scheduling and field staff meetings.
• Reviews plans, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, constructability reviews and closeout records.
• Assists in detecting and resolving disputes and/or problems and responds to public complaints.
• Ensures all tests, operations, measurements, and inspections are scheduled and completed for QA/QC.
• Maintains records on quantities, labor, equipment, and progress for change orders.
• Makes field measurements and maintains as-built drawings records.
