Job summary

Garver is seeking a Project Manager in our Charlotte, NC office to lead water projects, including design reports, studies, and treatment facilities. You will coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery while mentoring engineers and CAD staff.

Ideal candidates have a civil/environmental/biological background, NC PE or reciprocity within 6 months, and 6+ years in water/wastewater. Travel for projects and conferences may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, environmental, biological, or similar engineering from an ABET accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina or ability to gain reciprocity within 6 months of hire.
• 6+ years of experience in the water/wastewater utilities market.
• Experience with Civil3D and ArcGIS.
• Strong communications skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manage scope, budget, and schedule for a team of project engineers and CAD staff on water projects.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
• Prepare and deliver project reporting for clients and leadership.
• Develop and implement Quality Assurance/Quality Control plans.
• Oversee construction engineering administration for local projects.
