Job summary

AE2S in Lehi, Utah is seeking a Water Project Manager (PE) to lead drinking water and water infrastructure projects in the Lehi region. You will own projects from concept through construction, guiding design teams, managing client relations, and delivering high-quality, constructible solutions.

Ideal candidates bring a Utah PE, experience in water treatment design, and a proven ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget while mentoring engineers and coordinating with stakeholders for project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineering or related field.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Experience with water treatment design and project delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage projects, clients, and teams simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to clients.
  • Experience or interest in business development and client growth.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations

Lead Critical Drinking Water Projects That Communities Depend On

We’re looking for a Water Project Manager (PE) to lead drinking water and water infrastructure projects in the Lehi, Utah region. In this role, you’ll take ownership of projects that support treatment plants, water supply systems, storage, pumping, and transmission infrastructure—from concept through construction.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as Project Manager for drinking water and water infrastructure projects, guiding work through the full project lifecycle
  • Lead water/wastewater project delivery including planning, design, and construction administration
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality (QA/QC) across projects

Basic
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil, chemical or environmental engineering or related field
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer in Utah or ability to obtain within 6 months
  • Experience with water treatment design and project delivery

Preferred
  • 15+ years consulting experience for municipal water/wastewater systems
  • Proven client relationships
Physical
  • Ability to walk up to 3-miles on uneven terrain
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight
  • May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
  • May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to, flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear
  • May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload
  • May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town
