A leading waterpark is seeking a seasonal maintenance worker to ensure the safety and cleanliness of all water features. Job description

This is a seasonal position.

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain all features of the Waterpark in a safe and sanitary condition.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Test, record, and adjust water chemistry in all areas of the waterpark on an hourly basis during periods of operation.
  • Backwash filters when required and maintain proper water levels in all pools. Close or shut down features for safety and emergency situations. Keep the environment in and around water activity areas clean and safe.
  • Perform pre-opening safety checks on pools, water features, and slides, including ride start-up and shut down based on the operating schedule.
  • Conduct pre-opening cleaning of pools and surrounding areas according to a schedule.
  • Inspect all areas of the waterpark at the end of each day.
  • Repair and maintain water rides and features during both operating and non-operating seasons.
  • Ensure daily safety and equipment inspections are performed.
  • Assist other departments in daily park operations.
  • Maintain water features and fountains within the park.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
The Ideal Candidate Must Possess:

Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
Be at least 18 years old.
Have a strong sense of teamwork and a positive attitude.

Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Knowledge of pumps, filters, and related equipment is a plus but not required.
