Water, Mold, and Fire Restoration Technician I, II, III

ServiceMaster Restore is a family-owned and operated business located in Diamond Springs, CA. We serve El Dorado, Sacramento, and Placer Counties, providing assistance for water, fire, and mold damage to properties. We are seeking a career-minded, highly motivated individual to join our team.

Requirements:

• Reliable and customer-oriented
• Honest, with a strong work ethic and integrity
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent personal skills and ability to think quickly
• Outgoing, personable, and able to make a good first impression with customers
• Available for on-call rotation and after-hours work (nights, weekends, holidays)
• Willing to work on various loss types including water, fire, sewage, mold, pack out, carpet cleaning, structure cleaning, and content cleaning
• Able to pass a background check
• Clean DMV driving record and valid CA driver's license
• Physically capable of performing labor-intensive tasks such as removing drywall or cabinets, and repetitive motions like water extraction and vacuuming
• Team player
• Willing to follow directions
• Ability to obtain IICRC Certification in Water Disaster Restoration
• Participate in ongoing training through our online university

Responsibilities:

• Perform loss mitigation and reporting
• Conduct scheduled carpet or content cleanings
• Pack out and inventory items properly
• Maintain a clean and professional office, work vehicle, and uniform
• Keep warehouse and equipment organized and clean
• Ensure vehicles are clean and ready for jobs, with equipment and materials prepared
• Take job notes and sketch customer homes (drafting skills a plus)
• Maintain accurate job files with forms, notes, photos, and authorizations from start to finish
• Engage in ongoing training via online courses
• Experience in carpet, upholstery, and tile & grout cleaning is a plus but not required
• Knowledge of general construction and demolition is preferred; project management experience is a plus
