Job summary

PANHANDLE CLEANING & RESTORATION, INC. is seeking a Remediation Technician to respond to water mitigation, sewage backups, flooding, and fire cleanup. You will learn water extraction, set up drying equipment, and assist the Project Supervisor with daily tasks.

Hourly compensation is competitive with training provided; a signing bonus is paid during the first year of employment for trained technicians. High School Graduation is required, with IICRC certifications preferred and on-site work in

Qualifications

• The RT will respond daily to water mitigation clean-up, sewage back-ups, flooding, fire board-ups.
• The RT will be trained on water extraction and operation of equipment.
• The RT will learn how to set up and operate drying equipment.
• The RT is responsible for reporting to the Project Supervisor at the start of each shift for job assignments and completing assigned tasks daily.
• The RT completes the process of preserving structural items and contents according to the Project Supervisor’s instructions.
• The RT informs the Project Supervisor of the equipment and materials needed to complete the assignment properly and on schedule.
• The RT possesses the communication skills and experience to direct laborers in the restoration protocols.
• The RT is responsible for personnel documentation, hours, and work performed on a given shift.
• The RT practices on-the-job safety and encourages safety amongst the labor force.
• The RT will be included on an on call schedule and rotation for after hours and weekend assignments.
